This research aims to analyze how the archetypes according to Carl Gustav Jung are represented
in embodying behavior and underlying human experience. This research uses the archetypal
theory by Carl Gustav Jung to answer research questions regarding the embodiment of archetypes
through human behavior, and how archetypes as a foundation in representing an identity. The
researcher used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to find the research results. The
research data collected from scenes, cinematography, film dialog, and secondary research. Based
on the research discussion, this research found analytical psychology and socio-cultural lines in
revealing archetypes as an instinctive behavior that embodied human personality. The results
show that the American identity as an archetypal representation in The Menu underlies human
collective behavior and shapes human experience. Finally, this research shows that archetypes are
the instinctive images that underlies all human phenomena, including human behavior and
experience in survival.
